All commercial transactions, including contracts for the sale of goods or the provision of services entered into with any customer, are governed by these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms and Conditions" or "T&C"). These T&C are incorporated by reference into every contract between the Seller and the Buyer.
Orders can only be placed electronically through the Website. The Seller does not accept orders by phone, fax, email, mail, or any other means. All communications regarding orders will also be sent electronically to the Buyer.
Placing an order requires the submission of personal information necessary for shipping and invoicing.
Following the order of the product(s), the Seller will engage a courier service to handle delivery. The package will be shipped with a tracking number to ensure traceability.
Payment is only accepted via credit card. By clicking the "Order Now" button, the Buyer makes an offer, which creates a payment obligation.
Within one hour of placing an order, the Seller will automatically send a confirmation that includes the following details:
If the confirmation is not received, the Buyer is relieved of the offer obligation.
Before submitting an order, the Buyer may modify their personal information provided during registration via email.
The order is considered a contract made over the internet, but it is not a signed document. The content of the contract is recorded and archived, making it accessible and retrievable later. The registration number for each order serves as the contract's identification number.
Prices listed on the Website are in Euros and include VAT. Payment and crediting of the purchase price will be in Euros.
If the Buyer uses a card linked to a non-Euro account, the card issuer's bank will handle the conversion at the exchange rate it determines. For payments made through PayPal, the conversion will be handled according to the exchange rate set by PayPal or the card issuer's bank, which the Buyer can manage in their PayPal account.
The Seller commits to delivering products marked "in stock" to the courier service within 5 business days of the order. Products not marked "in stock" have longer manufacturing times, and delays in production may make fulfillment impossible.
If performance becomes impossible, the contract will be terminated. The Seller will promptly inform the Buyer of the impossibility and refund any pre-paid amounts within 14 days. The Buyer will not incur any additional costs related to the refund.
All purchased products and services must be paid for online. An electronic invoice will be issued for each order and sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase. Invoices will be issued in PDF format by the invoicing software.
If the courier service is unable to deliver the order on time or in good condition due to reasons beyond the Seller's control, the Seller may engage another service provider. The Seller will inform the Buyer of the change and the reason via email.
Under the 45/2014. (II. 26.) Government Decree, the Buyer may withdraw from the purchase without justification within 14 days of receiving the product.
The right of withdrawal may be exercised by sending a clear statement via email to info@egedi.eu or by using the withdrawal form included in Annex 2 of the Decree.
If the withdrawal is in writing, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal notice to the Seller within 14 days of receiving the product.
The Buyer may also exercise the right of withdrawal during the period between the conclusion of the contract and the receipt of the product.
In case of withdrawal, the Buyer shall return the product at their own expense to the following address: 1072 Budapest, Klauzál tér 9, Hungary. The Seller will refund the purchase price and any other costs incurred within 14 days of receiving the returned product. The Seller will refund the shipping fee only if the Buyer withdraws from the entire order.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction.
The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in the cases outlined in Section 29 of the 45/2014. Government Decree, such as:
The Seller may seek compensation for damages resulting from the improper use of the goods.
If the Buyer enters into a contract for the provision of services via the online store, they may terminate the contract instead of withdrawing.
The right of termination may be exercised within 14 days from the date the contract was concluded.
The right of termination cannot be exercised after the service has been fully performed, provided the performance began with the Buyer's express prior consent, and the Buyer acknowledged that they would lose the right of termination after the performance was completed.
Under the provisions of the 2013 Act V, the Buyer may assert a warranty claim against the Seller in the event of a defective product.
The Buyer may request a repair or replacement, unless it is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional costs for the Seller. If repair or replacement is not possible, the Buyer may:
No withdrawal is allowed in the case of a minor defect.
The Buyer may switch from the chosen warranty right to another, but must bear the cost of the switch unless it was justified or the Seller gave reason to do so.
The defect must be reported immediately upon discovery, but no later than 2 months after it is discovered. Warranty claims cannot be enforced beyond 2 years from the date of performance.
For defects reported within 6 months of performance, no other condition is required to enforce the claim except for notifying the defect and presenting the invoice. After 6 months, the Buyer must prove that the defect existed at the time of performance.
If the warranty claim is not made in person, the Seller will handle the return and replacement of the product at its own expense through its chosen service provider. The return requires prior coordination and notification of the complaint within the statutory period.
Shipping costs for products returned without prior coordination will not be reimbursed by the Seller.
The Seller strives to ensure that the data displayed on the Website (e.g., product prices, availability, descriptions) are as accurate as possible. Clearly erroneous prices resulting from system errors (e.g., 0 or 1 EUR) are not considered an offer and do not create any legal obligations.
The images accompanying the products are illustrative mock-ups. In case of any discrepancy, the product description shall prevail.
The Seller declares that the products available in the online store are original products protected by intellectual property rights or reproductions thereof. The Buyer may not use the products for commercial purposes; they are only for personal use. Reproduction, distribution, public performance, communication to the public, modification, or display of the products is prohibited without the Seller's prior written consent.
The Seller's system may collect data on Buyer activities, which cannot be linked to other data. The Seller will only send newsletters or other promotional materials with the Buyer's prior, explicit, and voluntary consent.
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary. Any such disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Budapest II. and III. District Court (Budai Központi Kerületi Bíróság).
